Get out of the box -- and back in

Noise Engineering is a Eurorack and 5U modular synthesizer manufacturer based in Los Angeles, California.

Got a module that needs some attention?

We recommend a couple of troubleshooting steps to try, depending on the problem you're experiencing.

1. Try changing the power cable.  It's rare, but sometimes they do go bad.

2. Try the module on another power supply if possible.

3. If the module has a switchable supply (for example, BIA, MI, LI...), try using the switch on the back to use the other power rail (if it is currently set to 12v, switch to 5v).

If none of these work, please fill out this form and we'll get back to you asap!  Yes it's a lot of questions, but the more we know, the better and faster we can help.

Which module requires attention?
The SN is not printed on the PCB itself. Look for a sticker on the box or on the front of the PCB or back of the panel. Look for a 3-4 digit number or a code starting with a letter followed by a 3-6 digit number (for example, B10020 or C030). It does NOT include the abbreviation of the module (E.g., BIA21 is NOT the serial number).
Approximate is fine.
If applicable, describe the conditions under which the problem happened/happens.
Photo *
Please send a clear photo of the back of the module to support [at] We need to be able to see the parts -- sometimes we can find a diagnosis from the photo. If applicable, feel free to send video too. Warranty issues will receive a reply after the photo is received.
Are you a robot? *
Check one of these. Hint: I'm told a real robot can't manage this task so one answer is wrong or makes you a liar. Or does it?
